| This bill abolishes the Office of the Public Advocate, will terminate all functions and lay off all personnel. This will eliminate all costs and all assessed revenues. It also directs the Public Utilities Commission and the Department of the Attorney General to report to the Legislature on November 1, 2003 on recommendations to replace the functions of the former Office of the Public Advocate. One-time costs for staff and consulting to conduct this study may be required. | |||||||
