| The cost of rule-making can be absorbed by the Department of Education and the Department of Human Services (DHS). DHS will incur additional costs estimated to be approximately $50,000 for consultation on development of a list of cancer-causing chemicals, training licensing staff to inspect child care facilities, additional inspection time at each facility and lab tests to determine if chemicals have been used inside a child care facility. | |||||||
