B.__Environmental controls, such as control of water, food, | | cover, special features and animal diseases; |

| | | C.__Research or investigations to provide a basis for sound | | management in the State; |

| | | D.__Manipulation of hunting pressure; |

| | | E.__Establishment of game lands, such as parks, forests, | | refuges and game management areas; |

| | | G.__Artificial replenishment, such as game farming and | | restocking; and |
|
| | | H.__Introduction of exotic species of wild animals or birds | | where needed. |

| | | 74.__Wildlife management area.__"Wildlife management area" | | means a tract of land or body of water owned or leased by the | | department for the purposes of wildlife management as defined in | | subsection 73 or created by an act of the Legislature with the | | landowner's permission, and subject to the commissioner's | | authority under section 12701. |

| | | 75.__Wolf.__"Wolf" means the Gray Wolf (Canis lupus). |

| | | The Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife is established | | to preserve, protect and enhance the inland fisheries and | | wildlife resources of the State; to encourage the wise use of | | these resources; to ensure coordinated planning for the future | | use and preservation of these resources; and to provide for | | effective management of these resources. |
