Item 1
must report a death or serious injury to the Director of the Bureau
of Labor Standards within the Department of Labor from 48 hours to
8 hours for a death and 24 hours for a serious injury. These new
limits are consistent with the federal requirements under the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
