SUMMARY

This bill provides a General Fund appropriation of $100,000 to be used to support community-based responses to the military base closure process. Funding will be used to cover travel costs for research and meeting attendance, formulation of information requests for the Base Realignment and Closure Commission, expenses incurred from consultant technical assistance and other expenses necessary to promote a visible show of community support for this installation.
