| | | Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §7076, sub-§17 is enacted to read: |

| | | 17.__Person under 17 years of age.__In any state waters open | | to fishing, a person under 17 years of age may fish using any | | legal fishing technique regardless of any limitation on the | | use of techniques imposed on a person who is 17 years of age | | or older. |

| | | This bill allows children under 17 years of age to fish | | using any legal fishing technique in any state waters open to | | fishing. |
