| | | Sec. 1. 12 MRSA c. 220, sub-c. 2, §1830 is enacted to read: |

| | | §1830.__Maine resident reservation period |

| | | A system established to accept reservations for overnight | | camping facilities at a state park, including a system | | established under section 1827 or chapter 211, must hold the | | first week that reservations are accepted for residents of the | | State only. |

| | | This bill requires that reservation systems for state parks | | hold open the first week that reservations are accepted for | | residents of the State only. |
