Sec. 1. 36 MRSA §2901 is amended to read:

§2901. Short title

This chapter shall be is known and may be cited as the "Gasoline Tax Road Services Fee Act" and the tax therein imposed shall be is known and may be cited as the "gasoline tax road services fee."

Sec. 2. Maine Revised Statutes amended; revision clause. Wherever in the Maine Revised Statutes the words "Gasoline Tax Act" or "gasoline tax" appear or reference is made to that Act or those words, they are amended to read and mean "Road Services Fee Act" or "road services fee," respectively, and the Revisor of Statutes shall implement this revision when updating, publishing or republishing the statutes.

SUMMARY

This bill renames the Gasoline Tax Act the "Road Services Fee Act."
