| | | Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §101, sub-§64-B, as enacted by PL 2001, c. 145, §2, | | is repealed and the following enacted in its place: |

| | | 64-B.__School zone.__"School zone" means the area within a | | 1/4 mile radius of the perimeter of improved school property. |

| | | This bill defines the school zone that is subject to a lower | | speed limit as the area within a 1/4 mile radius of the | | perimeter of improved school property. |
