| Sec. 1. Reduction of unnecessary paperwork. Resolved: That the Department |
| of Administrative and Financial Services, Bureau of Revenue |
| Services shall study methods for decreasing the amount of |
| duplicative paperwork and information that must be provided by |
| businesses in this State, including, but not limited to, filings |
| required for income and unemployment taxes and information |
| required by the Department of Human Services. The bureau shall |
| submit its report along with any implementing legislation to the |
| joint standing committees of the Legislature having jurisdiction |
| over business and economic development matters and taxation |
| matters by January 3, 2003. The joint standing committees of the |
| Legislature having jurisdiction over business and economic |
| development matters and taxation matters each may report out a |
| bill to the First Regular Session of the 121st Legislature. |
