§3501. Definitions
As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.

                  1. 
                                Child. 
                                "Child" means a son or daughter under 21 years of age or a son or daughter who is incapable of earning a living and without sufficient means.

                  2. 
                                Parent. 
                                "Parent" includes either a biological parent or an adoptive parent.
