Qualified part-time bee inspectors shall be employed on a per diem basis and shall receive necessary traveling expenses while actually engaged in the performance of their duties. A part-time bee inspector shall serve during the pleasure of the commissioner.   [PL 1985, c. 572 (NEW).]
