§15913. School bus shelters

                  1. 
                                Placement. 
                                School bus shelters for school children, when approved by the school board of the unit in which they are located, may be placed or maintained outside the right-of-way and at least 33 feet from the center line of a highway.

                  2. 
                                Requirement. 
                                A shelter shall be:
                                     
                                
                
                  A.
                                        Constructed of steel or other durable material with concrete floor raised above ground level;

                  B.
                                        Kept clean, well painted or otherwise suitably maintained at all times; and

                  C.
                                        Kept free from snow.

                  3. 
                                Removal. 
                                The school board may order its removal if it does not meet these requirements.
