     Sec. AA-1. PL 1999, c. 731, Pt. AAAA, §4 is amended to read:

     Sec. AAAA-4. Appropriation. The following funds are appropriated from the General Fund to carry out the purposes of this Part.

Provides funds for the per diem and expenses of legislative members of the Maine Fire Protection Services Commission.

Maine Fire Protection Services Commission

Provides initial operating funds for the Maine Fire Protection Services Commission. These funds may not lapse but must be carried forward until June 30, 2002 to be used for this same purpose.

Maine Fire Protection Services Commission

Provides one-time funds to contract for actuarial and other planning services to create plans for a health insurance bridge for retired career firefighters and for a length-of-service incentive program for volunteer firefighters. These funds may not lapse but must be carried forward until June 30, 2002 to be used for these same purposes.

Maine Technical College System - Board of Trustees
