Sec. OO-1. 20-A MRSA §13451, sub-§3, as amended by PL 1995, c. 368, Pt. G, §14, is further amended to read:
3. Payment by State. The State shall pay 25% 30% of the retired teacher members' share of this insurance.
Sec. OO-2. Appropriation. The following funds are appropriated from the General Fund to carry out the purposes of this Part.

Provides funds to increase the State's share of retired educators' health insurance premiums from 25% to 30% effective January 1, 1999.
Sec. OO-3. Effective Date. That section of this Part that amends the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 20-A, section 13451, subsection 3 takes effect January 1, 1999.
