Sec. C-1. Report. Notwithstanding the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 23, sections 1801 to 1806, for the fiscal years ending June 30, 1998 and June 30, 1999, the Commissioner of Transportation is authorized to administer the Local Road Assistance Program consistent with the legislative allocation and bond funds available. The commissioner shall report to the Joint Standing Committee on Transportation prior to January 1, 1998 on the administration of this program.
