Further amend the bill in section 1 in paragraph F in subparagraph (6) by inserting at the end the following: 'The State Controller shall notify the State Auditor, the Office of Program Evaluation and Government Accountability and other interested parties of the audits and investigations in a timely manner.'

SUMMARY

This amendment requires the State Controller to notify the State Auditor, the Office of Program Evaluation and Government Accountability and other interested parties when a nonstate organization requests access to state agency resources and records related to internal controls.
