The bill includes
a one-time General Fund appropriation to the Department of the Secretary of
State of $5,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 to compensate individuals serving on
boards and commissions with lived experience. |

Any additional
costs to the various agencies impacted by the provisions of this bill are
anticipated to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted
resources. |
