The Department of
Education has indicated that it will cost approximately $30,000 in fiscal
year 2025-26 to contract for staff to conduct the required review and prepare
the required report. Because this bill
requires the department to complete this work within existing budgeted
resources, no General Fund appropriations are included in the bill. However, whether or not the department can
accomplish this work without impacting other programs and services can not be
determined at this time. |
