The bill includes
a one-time transfer of $20,000,000 in fiscal year 2023-24 from the
unappropriated surplus of the General Fund to the Land for Maine's Future
Fund within the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry and
accompanying allocations of $10,000,000 in fiscal year 2023-24 and fiscal
year 2024-25 to fund eligible expenditures and other authorized purposes in
accordance with the statutory provisions of the Land for Maine's Future Fund
as contained in the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 5, section 6203. |
