Fiscal Detail and Notes
This amendment reduces the one-time General Fund appropriation in the bill by $600,000 in fiscal year 2022-23. As amended, the bill includes a one-time General Fund appropriation of $400,000 in fiscal year 2022-23 to the Housing Authority - State program within the Maine State Housing Authority (MSHA) for grants to eligible owners of single family homes or landlords for the treatment of contaminated private drinking water. Additional funding for the grants will be provided by a payment of $100,000 to MSHA from the funds received by the Office of the Attorney General for antitrust enforcement and enforcement of the Unfair Trade Practices Act.
