Fiscal Detail and Notes
This bill includes General Fund appropriations of $213,154 in fiscal year 2022-23 to the Department of Administrative and Financial Services for one Public Service Coordinator I position and one Public Service Coordinator II position within the Office of the State Economist to conduct demographic analyses and provide the capacity to make data accessible to the public.
The bill includes General Fund appropriations of $208,121 to the Department of the Secretary of State in fiscal year 2022-23 for one Management Analyst II position and one Data Governance Architect position to oversee a records management program and advance data governance policies and programs.
It also includes General Fund appropriations of $106,577 in fiscal year 2022-23 to the Racial, Indigenous and Tribal Populations program within the Permanent Commission on the Status of Racial, Indigenous and Tribal Populations for one Public Service Coordinator I position to coordinate the commission's ongoing role in establishing and enhancing the data governance program.
Any additional costs to other departments and agencies to participate and meet the requirements of the bill are assumed to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
