Fiscal Detail and Notes
This amendment changes the General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services from $1,556,025 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $2,089,994 in fiscal year 2022-23 to $518,682 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $696,675 in fiscal year 2022-23 based on an update to the calculations to amend its rule Chapter 101: MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter II, Section 28 and Section 65 to change the educational requirements for all behavioral health professionals providing services for children. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations are also reduced for the FMAP match and Other Special Revenue Funds allocations for the Service Provider Tax.
