|
This bill states
that any municipality that prohibits or restricts the exchange of information
with federal immigration authorities is ineligible for general purpose aid
for local schools, municipal general assitance and state-municipal revenue
sharing. If any municipalty becomes subject to these restrictions General
Fund expenditures will be reduced, General Fund revenue will be increased and
Local Government Fund revenue will be decreased. The level of noncompliance
and the amounts affected cannot be determined at this time. |
