Part B of the
bill directs the Maine Health Data Organization (MHDO) to develop and
maintain a multipayor provider database and service locator tool in
conjunction with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) using
existing resources. Any additional costs are expected to be minor and could
be offset at least partially, if not totally, by cost savings from reduced
reporting requirements for MHDO included in the bill. |
