The Learning
Systems Team program within the Department of Education will require one-time
General Fund appropriations of $2,020,590 in fiscal year 2021-22 and $117,609
in fiscal year 2022-23 to implement the requirements of this legislation. Of these amounts, $76,590 in fiscal year
2021-22 and $117,609 in fiscal year 2022-23 are required for one
limited-period Region Education Representative position and related All Other
costs to coordinate the review of career and technical education (CTE)
courses available in the State. An
additional one-time, nonlapsing appropriation of $1,944,000 in fiscal year
2021-22 is required for the costs of conducting the review. This estimate assumes that an average of 8
CTE programs in each of the 27 CTE regions will be reviewed at a cost of
$9,000 per program. |
