|
This bill removes
restrictions on the total number of discharge licenses for Class AA and Class
A waters when that license assists in the restoration of Atlantic salmon. No
estimate is made at this time of the number of additional licenses that will
be issued, but the impact on revenues is not anticipated to be significant.
Any additional costs to the Department of Environmental Protection as a
result of the removal of license restrictions are anticipated to be minor and
can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
