Fiscal Detail and Notes
	The bill would require an appropriation of $250,390 per year beginning in 2019-20 to the Legislature for the costs of the Legislature to contract on an ongoing basis with the University of Maine System to establish and maintain the Maine Workforce, Research, Development and Student Achievement Institute.
	Additional costs to the Departments of Education and Economic and Community Development, the State Board of Education and the State Workforce Board to serve on the steering committee can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
