	This bill requires an employer to register with and use the federal immigration verification system (E-Verify) to determine the work eligibility status of new employees. There is no penalty for not using E-Verify, but it's use can be used as an affirmative defense to prosecution for certain other violations. No cost implications are anticipated for the court system.
