Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $1,486,524 in fiscal year 2019-20 and $1,487,470 in fiscal year 2020-21 for increased claims costs and technology updates and testing required in the Maine Integrated Health Management System to allow cost-based reimbursement to Maine Veterans' Homes nursing facilities. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations will also be required for the FMAP match.
