Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $370,435 in fiscal year 2019-20 and $493,913 in fiscal year 2020-21 to set the reimbursement rates for occupational therapy and physical therapy services under the Department of Health and Human Services rule Chapter 101: MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter III, Sections 68 and 85 at 70% of the federal Medicare reimbursement rate as long as the rate is no lower than the rate in effect on January 1, 2019. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations will also be required for the FMAP match.
