Fiscal Detail and Notes
The bill includes General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of $25,955 in fiscal year 2019-20 and $51,909 in fiscal year 2020-21 to increase reimbursement rates for chiropractic services for manipulative treatments under procedure codes 98940, 98941 and 98942 to no less than 70% of the federal Medicare reimbursement rate. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations are also included for the FMAP match.

A more current estimate would increase the FY 2019-20 General Fund appropriation by $3,072 to $29,027 and the FY 2020-21 General Fund appropriation by $6,433 to $58,342.
