‘Resolve, Directing the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry To Update Best Management Practices for Poultry Facilities’
Amend the bill by striking out everything after the title and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 1. Best management practices for poultry facilities. Resolved: That the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry shall update department best management practices for poultry facilities in the State and establish guidelines for cage-free production of eggs. The department may cross-reference 3rd-party certifiers' specifications for keeping egg-laying hens humanely in cage-free housing systems.’
Amend the bill by relettering or renumbering any nonconsecutive Part letter or section number to read consecutively.
