An Act To Prohibit the University of Maine System, the Maine Community College System and the Maine Maritime Academy from Considering the Criminal Records of Applicants
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 20-A MRSA §10014 is enacted to read:
§ 10014. Criminal record of applicant
The University of Maine System, the Maine Community College System and the Maine Maritime Academy may not inquire about or consider the criminal record of an applicant for admission to any postsecondary educational program.
