An Act To Improve Trust with Regard to Home Visitation by the Department of Health and Human Services by Requiring That Certain Visits Be Videotaped
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 22 MRSA §4021, sub-§6 is enacted to read:
6. Videotaped recording of home visits. If a staff member of the department visits the home of a child to investigate or assess an allegation of abuse or neglect of the child, the staff member shall videotape all interviews conducted during the visit.
