An Act To Require Career Options Education for High School Students
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 20-A MRSA §4722, sub-§2, ¶¶D and E, as enacted by PL 1983, c. 859, Pt. C, §§5 and 7, are amended to read:
D. Science, including at least one year of laboratory study--2 years; and
E. Fine arts, which may include art, music, forensics or drama--one year . ; and
Sec. 2. 20-A MRSA §4722, sub-§2, ¶F is enacted to read:
F. Career and education development--one semester or its equivalent.
