|
This bill allows
persons preparing food in their home to sell directly to consumers or to
offer homemade food at certain events without being licensed as a food
establishment. There will be a minor decrease in General Fund revenue to
Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry (ACF) as a result of
fewer food establishment licenses issued. Any additional costs to the ACF as
a result of the reduction in license requirements are anticipated to be minor
and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
