Fiscal Detail and Notes
The bill includes General Fund appropriations of $1,245,517 in fiscal year 2017-18 and $1,380,474 in fiscal year 2018-19 to the Department of Health and Human Services for the increased costs generated by elimination of the requirement to apply for and receive a certificate of need from the Department of Health and Human Services before introducing additional health care services and procedures into a market area. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations for the FMAP match and Other Special Revenue Funds allocations for the Nursing Facilities Tax are also included.
