An Act To Allow Fees To Be Charged for Wild Game Dinners

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §11217, sub-§2, ¶I  is enacted to read:

I A person who has lawfully killed or trapped and registered, if required by this Part, a wild animal may sell the meat of the animal at a wild game dinner or to the organizer of a wild game dinner. For the purposes of this paragraph, "wild game dinner" means a single event where meat from an animal lawfully taken under this Part is cooked and sold to persons at the event for immediate consumption.
