Resolve, To Increase the Availability of Motorcycle Rider Education

Sec. 1. Motorcycle rider education rules. Resolved: That the Department of the Secretary of State shall amend its rules on motorcycle rider education to:

1. Remove the restriction preventing a motorcycle instructor from teaching more than one class per day;

2. Remove the requirement that a motorcycle school have a training range and a classroom at the same site;

3. Allow no more than one unannounced inspection of a motorcycle school per month; and

4. Increase the allowed maximum number of students in a motorcycle rider education class to 24 and in a driver education class to 35.
