	The bill requires the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry (ACF) to establish the Maine Food Infrastructure Advisory Committee and requires ACF to award at least one grant of up to $30,000 from the Agricultural Development Grant Fund for conducting market feasibility studies and developing business plans for local food infrastructure. This bill will not impact the amount of funds allocated to the Agricultural Development Grant Fund and the fund has sufficient resources to absorb the potential costs from this legislation.
