The bill expands
the definition of endangering the welfare of a dependent person and defines
financial exploitation, undue influence and other terms related to the
treatment of dependent adults. The Department of the Attorney General is
authorized to accept any funds available to fund limited-period positions to
investigate and prosecute the financial exploitation of dependent adults. |
