An Act To Designate the Maine Lobster as the State Crustacean
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 1 MRSA §229 is enacted to read:
§ 229. State crustacean
The Maine lobster (Homarus americanus) is the official state crustacean.
Effective 90 days following adjournment of the 127th Legislature, Second Regular Session, unless otherwise indicated.
