Amend the amendment by inserting after the last paragraph and before the summary the following:
Amend the resolution in the 2nd paragraph from the end in the 8th line (page 1, line 42 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "the date of the proclamation" and inserting the following: 'March 1, 2016'
’SUMMARY
This amendment provides that if the required votes are cast in favor of the proposed amendment to the Constitution, the proposed amendment becomes part of the Constitution on March 1, 2016 instead of on the date of the Governor's proclamation.
