An Act To Increase the Safety of Social Workers
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 32 MRSA §7032 is enacted to read:
§ 7032. Addresses confidential
The home address of a person licensed under this chapter that is in the possession of the board is confidential and not open to public inspection and does not constitute a public record as defined in Title 1, section 402, subsection 3.
SUMMARY
This bill provides that the home address of a social worker that is in the possession of the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation, State Board of Social Worker Licensure is confidential and not subject to public disclosure under the freedom of access laws.
