An Act To Require Adequate Rest Breaks for Employees
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 26 MRSA §601, sub-§1, as enacted by PL 1985, c. 212, is repealed.

This bill repeals a provision of law exempting businesses with fewer than 3 employees on duty at any one time from having to provide employees 30-minute breaks for every 6 hours worked.
