Fiscal Detail and Notes
This legislation proposes to increase the Oxford Casino tax from 46% of net slot income to 48% of net slot income to provide funding to the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians.  This increase would increase Other Special Revenue Funds by $755,219 in fiscal year 2013-14 and $1,017,029 in fiscal year 2014-15.  These amounts are based on the December 2012 revenue forecast.  A corresponding Other Special Revenue Funds allocation would need to be included in the bill to allow the funds to be spent.
