Amend the resolve in section 4 in the first paragraph in the 5th line (page 2, line 9 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "appraised fair market value" and inserting the following: 'an appraised fair market value that is the higher of 2 appraisals or the highest of more than 2 appraisals'

Amend the resolve in section 4 in the 2nd paragraph in the last line (page 2, line 18 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: "Association." the following: 'To ensure that the State retains public access to West Richardson Pond, the director may not convey ownership of Lot 4-W as depicted on the Richardson Pond cottage lots plan developed by Seven Islands Land Company.'


This amendment requires the Director of the Division of Parks and Public Lands within the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry to obtain at least 2 appraisals to establish the fair market value of the 10 camp lots on West Richardson Pond that may be conveyed to the West Richardson Pond Public Lot Association pursuant to the resolve. The amendment also directs the director to ensure continued public access to West Richardson Pond by retaining state ownership of a specific lot in the Richardson Pond cottage lot subdivision.
