Amend the amendment by inserting after Part D the following:

PART E

Sec. E-1. Department of Health and Human Services to provide MaineCare services by July 1, 2013. By July 1, 2013, the Department of Health and Human Services shall provide services to all adults on waiting lists for services under the MaineCare program Chapter 101, MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter II under the following waivers: Section 19, Home and Community-Based Benefits for the Elderly and for Adults with Disabilities; Section 21, Home and Community Benefits for Members with Intellectual Disabilities or Autistic Disorder; Section 22, Home and Community Benefits for the Physically Disabled; and Section 29, Support Benefits for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities or Autistic Disorder.

Sec. E-2. Department of Health and Human Services to provide non-MaineCare services by July 1, 2013. By July 1, 2013, the Department of Health and Human Services shall provide services to all elderly and disabled adults on waiting lists for services under the following state-funded programs: Department of Health and Human Services Rule Chapter 10-149, Chapter 5, Section 63, In-Home and Community Support Services for Elderly and Other Adults and assessments for services under Section 63; Chapter 10-149, Chapter 5, Section 69, Office of Elder Services Homemaker Program; and Chapter 14-197, Chapter 11, Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Services.’

SUMMARY

This amendment directs the Department of Health and Human Services to provide services by July 1, 2013 to all adults on waiting lists for services under the MaineCare program Chapter 101, MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter II under the following waivers: Section 19, Home and Community-Based Benefits for the Elderly and for Adults with Disabilities; Section 21, Home and Community Benefits for Members with Intellectual Disabilities or Autistic Disorder; Section 22, Home and Community Benefits for the Physically Disabled; and Section 29, Support Benefits for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities or Autistic Disorder.
