| This legislation provides that if the Sire Stakes Fund and Fund to Supplement Harness Racing Purses receives net slot machine income from a new facility, the amounts distributed to these funds from the Oxford casino will be forwarded to the State Transit, Aviation and Rail Fund within the Department of Transportation to support passenger rail service throughout the state. Currently, 1% of the net slot machine income from Oxford is projected to be deposited into each fund. The two racino proposals which will be on the November ballot contain provisions to deposit a total of 13.5% of net slot machine income into these funds. | ||||||
